A Modest Proposal

Some thoughts on the "gay marriage" controversy, in Minnesota and other states:

How will "Adam and Steve" getting married endanger my marriage?

If the goal of a constitutional amendment is to protect marriage, the amendment should include "...and divorce or other termination of marriage shall not be allowed..."

Any state constitutional amendment banning "gay marriage" is unconstitutional under the Ninth Amendment:
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
