The case of the Incredible Shrinking State Capitol!

My contribution made it to the St. Paul Pioneer Press' 'Bulletin Board' section:
Reports Rico: "While driving north on Smith Avenue, I was stopped at the Annapolis intersection. I looked straight ahead down the middle of Smith, and I saw the State Capitol looming up ahead, almost floating in the air. It took up the entire space between the trees on the sides of the street.

"As I drove north, I noticed the Capitol shrinking! When I got to the High Bridge, looking across the panorama that is St. Paul, the Capitol was tiny.

"It's a pretty cool illusion. You should check it out."
