Ms. Fixit

As we were helping Brian move on Sunday, we turned a corner with a full load in the back of the pickup. Annie noticed the load shifting, so I pulled over, jammed on the emergency brake, and fixed the load. A little ways down the road, Rosie flashed his high beams at us, because big clouds of blue smoke were coming out from under the right rear tire. Apparently, when you don't use your emergency brake for an extended period, it can get stuck. It did in this case.

Long story short-- After we got everything unloaded, Annie was able to crawl under the truck and shake loose the stuck brake. We won't be using that anymore.
